💧 Epoxy Resin Guide

🧤 Step 1: Prepare Your Workspace

Before you begin, make sure your workspace is:

  • Clean, flat, and free from dust

  • Well-ventilated

  • Equipped with gloves, a mask, and all DIY tools (mixing cups, sticks, molds, measuring spoons, etc.)

💡 Tip: A clean and stable environment helps achieve a crystal-clear finish.

⚗️ Step 2: Mix the Resin & Hardener

  • Combine Part A (Resin) and Part B (Hardener) in a 1:1 volume ratio.

  • Stir slowly and thoroughly for 3–5 minutes until the mixture turns clear and uniform.

  • Avoid stirring too fast to reduce bubbles.

🔥 Pro Tip: Use a heat gun or lighter to gently remove surface bubbles after pouring.

🎨 Step 3: Add Color & Decoration

Personalize your resin by adding:

  • Pigments, mica powder, glitter, or dried flowers

  • Mix gently for even color distribution

✨ Note: Keep color additives below 5% of the total resin volume to ensure proper curing.

  • Pour the mixed resin into your mold or onto your surface.

  • Let it cure naturally at room temperature (around 25°C / 77°F).

  • Curing time: 24–48 hours, depending on temperature and humidity.

  • Avoid touching or moving the piece during curing to prevent marks.

  • Once fully cured, gently remove your piece from the mold.

  • Sand edges if needed.

  • Add another thin resin layer for extra gloss and protection.
